Yeh Im having the exact same problem and its pissing me off....Needs an update to fix it or does anyone know how to fix it???

it seems when you add more instruments, it takes up too much RAM on the phone ,making it crash. Try deleting some,I found that 10 seem to work ok.

The crash happens when you switch instruments, use setup to change the instrument, no crash then (at least for me).
