[Release] iChabber (Googletalk) about time

Not sure if this has been posted anywhere on here yet but stumbled across this gem.

A native app for Gtalk and Jabber

I have tried this successfully via wifi but having a little trouble over edge.

I've experienced the same issue

Worked great over wifi wouldnt even connect over edge

I haven't been able to connect neither over edge or Wifi

Maybe I'm not getting my config right. Could somebody help me?

I've tried myusername@gmail.com and myusername as ID and as Username, leaving the host blank or using talk.google.com. Nothing seems to work.

What am I doing wrong?

I had that problem too, I just kept deleting my username@gmail/googlemail.com and password and re entering it and after a few trys it connected

Thank you very much, I'd already tried it... but it seems the tenth time was a charm. It works now

Are you using Tmobile Tzones internet plan ($5.99)?

This appears to be another app that cannot run over a proxy based internet plan like Tzones. I started a Tzones compatibility thread for apps that use internet connectivity and don't work with Tzones.
