It would be nice if it had one, I see a bunch of useless stuff and it would be cool to see what other users think of it. And maybe a top menu bar like, System, Games, Images, as it is getting really crowded in there.

Definitely an awesome idea. There are a lot of applications listed in the Installer.app right now, and there are only going to be more over time. Some are exemplary examples of third-party apps at least as compelling as anything written by Apple. Some aren't. A feel for what's good and what isn't would be brilliant.

It would also be nice if there was a WIP section where betas and 1.0 versions are stored.
Another one would be a NEW section very similar to the update section where you can see all the new applications that were posted since the last time you refreshed, and you get the nice red dot notification, as it can really be a pain in the a$$ to scroll thru xy apps and try to remmember which ones are new.
