Quicktime 'movie playlists'
Not quite the right place to put this but it seems to fit most nonetheless.
I haven't got an iPhone (yet) to test this myself, so it'd be a real help if someone could go to the following page on O'Reilly and see if the small movie listed under "Multiple Movies, One Player" works correctly on the iPhone. It's the one marked in the following picture:

Here's the link: http://digitalmedia.oreilly.com/2007...e-secrets.html
It should play a series of movies, the first showing the number 1, the second the number 2, etc. This will indicate whether the iPhone quicktime plugin supports so-called Movie Playlists. If so this is a step towards getting a slightly more easy-to-use player for iTunes libraries hosted online. Each track in a playlist or album could be specified accordingly a a movie playlist, with code generated on the spot based on the user's choices (eg, one particular artist, or an album). Pressing 'back' from the quicktime interface returns to the menu, as you'd expect, and pressing skip forward (if not back) skips to the next track.
Or thats what I hope anyway...
mp3s and aac files could be converted to mp4s with simply the cover art as the video and the un-converted audio.
...EDIT: It'd help if I gave you the link hmm...
