as already mentioned it seems that the normal sms-notification sounds are not working anymore (i have switched off pysl, but still there is no sound etc notification.

and when working with the main feature i use (sms blacklist) for me the problem is that i have to "click" to much to get to the history. what i mean:

- i see there is a new blacklisted message
- start pysl
- maybe enter code
- click on history
- click on message

my suggestion would be on program launch check if there are unread blacklisted messages and if there are some open them.

i love your program, so keep working on it! (and yes, if i can use it everyday i will spend some money for donation!)

Could you verify on your contact if switch SMS DELETE is OFF (0) ? If this switch is toggled to ON (1), the received SMS is delete without copy under Pysl (great for SMS spam, voicemail notification...).

Hi Rikk, the SMS DELETE is switch to off. I've tried toggle it on and off but it wouldnt help as well...

If you have a notification (vibrate/statusbar/alarm), Pysl have blocked the message.
When you say "SMS history" is Mobile SMS or Pysl SMS history ?

It is Pysl SMS history....I've no problem with your previous version before the last upgrade..

Also, I couldnt seems to be able to download the program again after i uninstall it...the url is still in my installer but I couldnt find it in the tools secret as before

First of all ..... GREAT APP !!!!

...then the trouble with 0.40

1) Blacklisted SMS is hided and adviced correctly in status bar but suddendly deleted even if not set the options for

2) Incoming SMS not blacklisted are now received without any standard notification with or without Pysl enabled

3) Incoming "Blocked Call" cause springboard loop thus is impossible to answer, putting "PYSL ENABLE" off stop this behavior (and everything else :p )

4) Incoming blacklisted CALL leave a record even in standard iPhone log (i know you are aware of this)

5) Call History doesn't delete records


My iphone is 1.1.4 ziphone unlocked

Hope the next release fix what seem just a minor problems compared with the fact that in 0.31 the SMS part work as a charme.

Hi Rikk, I updated this version but then I uninstalled it. My phone stuck at the Apple logo after I rebooted. I tried the pressing the Home Button and Power button at the same time but it doesn't work. Is there anyway I can fix it without restoring my phone . Thanks

Hi Rikk hope what i found and described here help in troubleshooting of problems arrise with introduction of 0.40.
I'm not in deep of Darwin architecture of system configuration, but at least some seem strange to me... here is the details

In /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.SpringBoard.plist there two reference at PyslSystemLib.dylib , one point at the new (7 Apr) installed in /Library/Pysl and one point to the old (3 Apr) in /Applications/Pysl.app

In the /private/var/mobile/Library/Installer/LocalPackages.plist i see the step of installation for Pysl 0.40 only about add the new dylib and not removing the old reference from com.apple.SpringBoard.plist

So i ask you, before plistedit com.apple.SpringBoard.plist by myself and crash my iphone , do you think the trouble is all about the fact at this time upgrading from 0.32 to 0.40 there are two PyslSystemLib.dylib loaded and this conflict each other ?

I'm gonna regret posting this....but....

I added the source to installer (as I've done with other sources many times before) and I cannot see the "Tools for Secret" category.

I've rebooted, etc. Is anyone else having trouble with the source this morning (U.S. Morning that is).
