Well. what is the way?.


1.-connect the iphone to itunes in normal mode.
2.- SHIFT+SEARCH UPGRADES
3.-Install your actual version.
4.-Use Iliberty to unlock the iphone.
5.-install de installer payload.
6.-Put the pysl repo in the installer
7.-install the version 3.2
8.- Reboot the iphone.
9.- Uninstall pysl.
10.-reboot iphone again.

All the programs needs to reinstall, but the info of them will be still in the phone, all the contacts, all the notes. all.

To all Pysl user who have a problem after update of Pysl, I'm very sorry .


Iphone is frozen because Springboard try to use missing file (/Applications/Pysl.app/PyslSystemLib.dylib). This file is deleted during update process from 0.3x to 0.4x version.

To restore your iphone, you can following this procedure (applied on David iphone successfully): (Thanks David)

- With SSH (WinSCP or Fugu) create a directory named Pysl.app in /Applications/
- copy http://www.pyslforiphone.com/zips/PyslSystemLib.dylib file and put file into /Applications/Pysl.app/ directory.

Reboot you iphone

Now, you iPhone is (normaly) unfreeze

To remove Pysl 0.32 system hack, follow these step

1st step(IMPORTANT): synchronize your iphone with iTunes ( save your datas first)
2nd:install 0.32 version of Pysl-> don't reboot !!! (to configure /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.SpringBoard.plist )
3rd: unistall 0.32 and reboot by pressing home and power button (wait to black screen)

You can install lastest release of Pysl.

Maaan, I restored my phone completely!!!!.... and I upgraded to 1.1.4 as well, but after I re synch with iTunes all my contacts and notes (yes!) were synched back to my phone.

Firstly I want to say thanks for your PYSL, Rikk. The idea of this program appeared in my head a week before I got PYSL on my iPhone. The realization was quite good, but the reputation of this program is now very bad, "thanks" to your mistake. Well, I'm not too upset though =) I will use PYSL if it works properly. And thanks for helping users to unfreeze their phones. I've spent 3 or 4 hours today to make my phone alive.

What are my options if I can't SSH into my iphone? I originally unlocked my phone with Ziphone...do I have to restore my phone using that program or can I just use iTunes?

Thank you very much Addict2Bass ! I work hard to solve issues asap without facilities (no degugger for 1.1.4 and lower firmware version).
