I just found that site and I'm trying to download Gran Turismo 2. But there are 6 rar files and each is 40 megs. I might just stick with NES roms only on the phone. A couple of games = bye bye storage space.

Great place for Roms. I download Breath of Fire III which is supposed to work with psx4all as compatibility list says. After downloading and unraring there was a file with .7z extention and after unraring again there are three files .ccd .img .sub which .img is about 468 MB. I have heard before roms for psx should have .iso extension . Now how should I install this rom? Do I need to copy all three to /var/root/media/roms/psx or I have to make an iso from it?

Another question:

A friend have some CD for playstation 1 (with mode chip installed using copied CDs). I made an iso from one of them using winiso and after coping it to psx roms directory and running psx4all and choosing the game control console show up (which looks very nice) but nothing else happens. Is this supposed to work at this stage or am I missing something?

Did you change the permissions to 0755 using winpscp??

Yes I did. No difference. Anyone has tried to nake iso from playstation 1 CD's and made working game?

BTW you can use the img files only,
I did last night and it works 100%
I tested gran turismo and driver 1+2 all games were Dowloaded from rom hustler

If someone knows how to run psx games in the iphone, should make a tutorial in mac or pc, but this would help many people that dont know how to install the psx games, as me.

Im going to stick with NES and Game Boy Advance 700 MB per game...that is simply not going to work for me

There are ways to rip PSX dumps to remove large video files and paddings. Hopefully the emulator will support this in the future.
