[Problem] [Iphone2.1] How do I kill processes
Question is the same as in topic title, how do I kill processes on the iPhone?
This question may been asked before but search didn't find me anything.
Got mobileterminal installed just don't know what to do.
I got a huge battery drain sometimes and I think its because an application doesn't terminate when I exit it.
The battery drain goes away when I reboot it but I want a simpler method w/o rebooting.
Help please

Hi,
Pressing home button for 15 seconds kills all the applications working in background.
Good Luck

In mobile terminal type - killall Process name
or
ps ax (this gets a list of all processes running with process ids)
then
kill -9 Process ID
-
KillMe was just released, basicly a GUI for the kill command

press the 'home' button twice, quickly. this will show the 'multi'task bar (everything currently running) at the bottom. press and hold any icon (or the one you want to kill) and they will begin to shake with a red minus sign. press the red minus sign, this will kill that app.
hope this helps.
