[Question] [2.1] How to enable customize or edit strings

is there a way to enable customize to use it on 2.1 when i open the app it says initializing and crashes and goes back to the springboard..i can't edit the system strings

also tried copying the springboard.strings(renamed to springboard.plist) converted to xml edited "slide to unlock" but the text that showed on my iphone was the tag "AWAY_LOCK_LABEL" and also on the other strings the tag were showing not the proper strings

didn't matter if it was binary or xml didn't work

is there any other way? i just want to edit the "slide to unlock":confused::confused::confused:

Do you have Winterboard installed? You could include the slider text in your theme. The "Saurik" theme, for example, has a modified slider text; see if you can copy that file an put your own text in.

Customize is still at its "initial 2.0+ release" as far as I know, so it might not work on 2.1.
