[Installer] Not Connecting/Crashing back to Springboard

I've tried searching for solutions on here and not sure if this is the same problem as the sticky but:

I upgraded and downloaded the new installer, and whenever i click on the installer icon, it looks like it attempts to connect, but times out and resprings to the menu screen.

ive turned ssh off and on and Ive rebooted but it doesnt seem to connect to the server or it crashes.

any ideas, guys?

try a clean restore and jailbreak/unlock properly
