No, it won't, but it will help you to understand what your problem is and solve it. :)
I debug writing with NSLog(); it writes to /var/logs/system.log It is useful to receive events that can't when it's launched from the console. I'm not so sure if there also registers apps crashes, but i think it should.
Hey guys, i'm very new to iPhone, but been reading through alot in these posts.
I have the same issue with crashing app, and i tried the method which is mentioned in this post, and i get up a message saying "Permission denied".
I really really want this app. to work! i have tried to set the permissons to 0755 and 0775, but none work. The app starts and than suddenly closes and goes back to springboard again.
It's a offline Wikipedia from Patrick Collison. It has two files, one is a dump of 2.2 Gb and the other one is a program which is placed under app's. Here is the link to download this app: http://collison.ie/wikipedia-iphone
I hope someone can help me out..it had been awesome to make it working on 2.0!
Cheers! :)
Hi,
I am checking an openURL "implementation" that I did. this thread helped a lot!
first I got a "no permission" error so it was helpfull.
after changing permissions, I executed it again and the only return is "Killed".
Is this return applications specific or also something general that could be commented in this thread?
thanks!
If you get the "Killed" in return when starting an app from the terminal, it means you are on 2.0 Firmware and you must fake codesign your app by using ldid.
Check Cydia's FAQ to know how to install/use it.
thanks!
this worked
