How to get YouTube working after JailbreakMe/anySIM1.1?

Hi,

I unlocked my new iPhone 1.1.1. using JailbreakMe and anySim1.1 (which boasts functional YouTube) but my YouTube doesnt work. I get the message that it needs to "first connect to iTunes with an internet connection to enable YouTube.".

Has anyone resolved this???

Thanks to Surrealnetworks. I just did this and it works.


Just make sure that you have "Community Sources" installed in installer.app.
1. On the "sources" tab click "Edit" then "Add" http://iphone.surrealnetworks.com/repo click "Done" then "Refresh"
2. On the "Install" tab find the SurrealNetworks category. Install the package "YouTube Fix (3 Files)".
3. Reboot! You should be all set

after hack no working youtube , after the fix as told above it works like a sharm!!!!

Thanks so much for the info. I'll check it out as soon as I'm in a hotspot! If I dont report back, it means it worked for me too!

it is not working for me ...sad ..

it is working after i uninstall the youtube fix and reboot in the 2nd time

-Open Installer
-in Sources tap click edit them add http://i.unlock.no
-refresh sources
-Under Unlocking Tools folder, install YouTube Activation (This is for fix Youtube problem if jailbreakme dont work)
