[Dev Attempt] Landscape.app
I have seen people ask about having Landscape Springboard abilities. So I have decided to try to work on it. I do not have much obj-c experience (I am on Windows XP SP2), but I think I have an idea.
If a developer has the obj-c code to make an app turn to landscape mode when the accelerometer changes I would like if you could send me that piece of code. I am going to attempt to try to find it. :hack:
My plan is to get the original springboard.app coding and add landscape compatibilty to it. I would then have to figure out how to make the icons turn and figure out something to do with the dock.
If I can get this to work then I will also be making the original SMS app with landscape compatibility.
More details coming soon. I am going to be learning as much Obj-C as I can to make Landscape.app (app to add Landscape to SMS, Springboard, and Notes) and APA.app (App Protection App aka APA adds password protection to an apps of your liking) If you are an experienced coder and would be willing to help me then PM me or post here. Or if you know any guides or tutorials to help me learn more obj-c to create an iPhone app.
Update 1: I have Springboard.app and MobileSMS.app. I have ALMOST installed the toolchain. I am stuck on one part. Read post #8. Then I need to get landscape code which I think I can get from modmyifone or drunknbass's website. After that I need to figure out a way to decompile the apps to get them to obj-c code so I can implement the landscape coding. PM me if you think you can help!
