Ok, 2 nights ago, i tried to swap my contacts from one phone to anohter... i have done this before in 1.1.1, with no issues, all i did was ssh into the phone and went to var/root/library and copied over the address book folder....
so i backed mine up , restored to 1.1.3 (from 1.1.3 softupgrade) and now when i copy over that folder from my backup to my iphone.. nothing changes... any ideas????
Your AddressBook database is in /var/mobile/Library if you used the 1.1.3 softupgrade since 1.1.3 runs under the 'mobile' user now.
yeah i got that figured out just now.. thanks.. shitty thing is.. i think i overwritten my address book folder, wrong numbers in it.. oh well..
I just got a yahoo acount and sync with yahoo contacts.. Works great!
