I can only give a links to manuals in Russian only. They contain basic how-to info and some screenshots which may be enough for you to catch the idea. The English version will be prepared later.
You need to have iTunes and .Net Framework 3.5 installed on the PC.

I hope someone can develop a simple tethering solution using this. The current method is a nightmare. And, of course, a mac version of this would be good, too.

Definitely needs sticky-ing. Whilst this doesn't yet place us on the sublime level of having the iPhone mount as a mass storage device, it's still a worthy step. Hoping it can get ported to Mac.

Very nice program. It is a lot more stable and faster than a WiFi connection. Plus I can charge my iPod at the same time.

I do have a suggestion though. Perhaps you could make it a service, so we don't have to start it every time and keep the Launcher.exe window open?

Also, just out of curiosity, how does the program work?

Wonder if the speed of transferring files over the iphone is really faster than with wifi?? It should be more reliable though for sure, how about speed???

I just did a test for transferring the same folder of 78 Mo by the 2 methods:
-over wifi: 3.19 minutes
-over USB: 2.17 minutes

Which boils down to approximately 40 to 50% faster over USB !!!!!!Without forgetting the reliability of the USB transfer!!!

That is HUGE and INCREDIBLE progress over WIFI!!!!
