[1.1.2 OTB] Questions about Jailbreaking

I purchased an iPhone about two weeks ago. It came with Bootloader 4.06, Firmware 1.1.2, and Baseband 04.02.13_G. I am thinking about jailbreaking and installing Installer.app but I have a few questions, and this seems to be a good place to ask.

1. Jailbreaking will void my warranty if Apple discovers it right?
2. Is there any way to jailbreak and not have Apple discover it if you have to send it in for repairs?
3. Will jailbreakme.com work with firmware 1.1.1 and baseband 04.02.13_G?
4. Is it worth risking voiding the warranty?
5. How likely is it that they will find out you hacked it?

Thats it for now I guess.

P.S. I am not interested in unlocking, as I am currently Activated with AT&T anyway so there would be no point.

1. Yes, but how will they know unless you personally show them?
2. Yes, restore the phone.
3. Yes, it will always work with 1.1.1.
4. Yes, jailbreaking makes your phone 10 times better.
5. Unlikely, unless you go to the Apple Store and parade around yelling about your jailbroken phone.

if you unlock it too, you need to "virginize" it also - but only if you want to return it to apple

and if that is an out of box 1.1.2, then you can't unlock it anyway - and i agree that jailbreaking it makes it 1000x better, fixes every little problem the iphone has and adds so much more

Anybody else have suggestions or comments?

Oh, and I know this may surprise you, but I am only 14 years old. I try to speak like I am older so that people will not talk down to me just because I am younger. :) I probably know as much about computers as some of you do. AND I have a life. I go to the movies hang out with friends etc.

LOL. I can see very clear that you are young just looking at your questions... "Older" people wont ask that kind of obvious questions assuming that is logical that if you restore your iphone you wont lose your warranty... And it seems more that your were very afraid with the jailbreak thing... That questions talks a lot about you, But anyway you are welcome here and I wont ignore you just because you are 14 years old... =)

Thank you, so it is completely safe to jailbreak right? I would only be putting games on there really, nothing too fancy. My Dad wants me to wait because I just got it and he doesn't want me to screw it up. Any comments?

Go ahead!! even the must horrible thing that could happen can completely solved just by a restore with your itunes. Any questions I am here to answer :D
