Hi,

so after it seems that the iPod touch uses the same platform and binary format as the iPhone, I guess this forum has to be renamed to iPhone + iPod touch ;-)

As the iTunes WiFi Store apparently will not support downloading new podcast episodes, I wondered, if it would be possible to develop a solution.

This post sketches a possible solution. However, I'd like to see something more integrated.

So here are my questions:

Is it possible to put videos and audio files somewhere in the iPhones file system, so that the built-in media player application recognize and list them?

If not, perhaps it is possible to find out, how iTunes WiFi handles new downloads?

Is there any information / basic tutorial on how to develop native iPhone applications, yet? Is there a reference on UIKit and other interfaces?

Regards,
