I know recently emulation for Game Boy Advance on the Iphone became a reality, but I was wondering if it is possible to get DS working on the iphone? DS uses a touch screen based approach, and since Iphone also uses a touch screen, I see the possibility. Anyone else think this is possible?

This would be a great addition to the Iphone if a group is capable of accomplishing it.

It's possible but emulation would probably be extremely slow. Even on a powerful PC DS emulation is laggy.

Yes it's possible, but it'd run extremely slow, plus there would be no way to control it properly.

they have a hard enough time making DS emulator for PC

i have a DS and could only see a small amount of games being worthwhile anyways

that being said, you can mod your DS into a webbrowser and such.

Well they got DS emulation working-ISH on the PSP, I guess they may be able to with a ton lot of work. But I don't think anyone will do that, as someone said above, nothing too special for it to be worthwhile even with the iPhone's touchscreen

Fun aside, I too think that it would make the Iphone the ueber gadget if a DS emulator became availble. I am playing Mario Kart on the GBA emulator and loving it...(still has a couple of hickups that need to be fixed)

It seems like everyday a new application comes out for the Iphone..today I played around with the Iradio app....great tool!

You know there is also an accalerometer, so it is also possible to get a Wii emulator.

I suppose you could make a Wii controller simulator, since the iPhone has bluetooth, it'd be much harder to use though.

lol ive seen a wii controller fly out of my friends hand and brake agents the wall. it would be cool but would you really want to risk your iphone over playing wii.
