Since yesterday evening, Installer app crashes near the end of each install and doesn't install. The item still shows up as needing updating or installation.

Anyone else having this problem, or even better - a solution?

what did you do before the crashing started anything special?

I had exactly the same problem and now Customize has and hasn't installed and won't open - tried reboot etc... any ideas?

I found that for some of the apps, deleting the app n the Mobile Finder, then deleting the cache in var/root/Library/Caches/Installer, then rebootinmg seems to clear out somer of the problems. But, for instance, the last 2 app-a-day apps, Bard, and Piano seem to partially install, then quit installer, and show up in the finder (with question mark icons) but not on the home screen. So I clear the caches and try and reinstall - no luck.

Anyone have any ideas?

If you are using summerboard, this problem may be solved by turning off the dim background option, it happened to me before.

I do use summerboard but I don't dim the background. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Seems like deleting iPhysics from R4mon helps. One of the last two versions may have caused the hangup. After deleting it i was able to install Piano.

Well, today i could install the latest App-A-Day app, but the iSolitaire update also failed. Tried deleting, clearing caches, rebooting - to no avail. Anyone have any ideas?

im going through the same thing at the very least moment of the installation installer.app crashes all the time i tred to update all at the same time, one by one and nothing.....anyone knows how to deal with this bug?
