Need help to solve puzzling bug with SBSettings with SSH Toggle in iPhone vs. iPod
Ok, I am observing a very strange behavior with the SSH Toggle with BigBoss' SBSettings in iPhone vs. iPod Touch.
Now, I am aware that SSH Toggle is turned on, by default, by SBSettings whenever the device (in my case, the iPhone) reboots (that is, powering off and then on). This is regardless whether or not SSH is off at the time when the device reboots.
However, I am see a possible bug in my iPod Touch 2G 2.2.1 FW....
the SSH Toggle in SBSettings does NOT turn SSH on by default when my iPod Touch reboots, that is, the SSH state remains the same as before the reboot (it survives the reboot). If SSH Toggle is off before the reboot, it will remain so after the reboot. Likewise if it is on before the reboot, it will be on after the reboot.
My question:
Why is the SBSettings SSH behavior DIFFERENT between the iPhone and iPod Touch???!!!???
Please help. I have installed/uhinstalled/reinstalled many times, and cannot figure out the reason...
