MobileRSS.app kills battery time !
So use the command 'unload -w' under Ulctl for mobilerss application when u dont need it ...
I realized this because inspite of unloading OpenSSH and wifi before going to bed, when i wake up my battery used to be abt 10 % from 50 % without doing anything.
Cheers

It's a nice app but v2.0 tends to be a bit laggy and often crashes for me. As for the battery life have you changed the default time interval between feed checks? I think the default is 5 minutes, I use 1 hour.

It's in the settings of the application itself... just tap the settings button...

I have problems with the new version 2.4.1
1. Whatever I set as refreshing interval, it always refreshes permanently
2. If I want to delete Feed items, they will not be deleted
Anyone having the same problems, or even better a solution?

have exactly the same problem. Uninstalled mobilerss. The alternate solution: save the rss feed as bookmarks in your safari. and open through safari then. it'll take you to reader.mac.com and will display the feeds properly

2.0+ depletes battery life and performance since it has a background process running. I am using v1.4.1, it doesn't have background process and it works great. You can get the old versions from its google code page I believe.
