I get a few .xls files per day, most of them open with no prob. but I get some where I get this message:

"Sorry, the document cannot be viewed. The document may be password protected or an error occured while reading it."

What can I do to get these to open????

Hi,

It seems that the excel files are corrupted by some reason. I think you can try a utility called Advanced Excel Repair to repair your Excel xls file. It works rather well for my corrupt Excel xls files. Hope this helps.
