I have been trying to run this program over t-zones edge for a while now. A new version has come out, and apparently AOL messenger works over t-zones if you change the port to 110, however everytime you try to log in, it crashes.

MSN messenger doesnt even log on. Is anyone aware of a fix available for the app?

Also, has anyone gotten any Messenger app (Mchat, Apollo, Fring) to work over t-mobile's t-zones?? I would like something that would stay logged on all the time. None of the above work.

Well I would like an app that I can have MSN and AOL continuously running on my phone. With the web based applications, once I close safari they close as well, and they wont alert me when my phone is in sleep mode. I would like something that continuously runs in the background on t-zones edge.

nothing runs continuesly in the background regardless. whenever u go into sleep, all connections are killed anyway.

its not a sidekick, typing non-stop with the touchpad gets annoying anyway

Thats strange, because when I have the phone in sleep mode, and have mchat on with wifi, i can get messages.

I too am having the same prob... been looking for a fix for a while...
