I have had problems forever trying to run it on Edge... still doesn't seem to work.
Are you using T-Mobile? I am starting to think that it works with some services and some services it doesn't...
so to answer your question, no I can't.

Hmm, so that's why it would always terminate for no reason, when I was out and about. I have T-mobile total edge as well, but it most likely does this for all of edge, well, that would at least be my best bet.

Im using edge.. and I cant connect thru edge..
But when I was using my old cellphone N73, with the same plan, I can log on to the web msn.. but now with iPhone, I cant..
So I guess there must be some hacking that can make it work??

Check this out guys:
to use native aim apps like apolo or mobilechat
You must use VPN total internet and the internet3.voicestream.com APN.
Supposedly if you have Total Internet package with VPN enable these two apps should work over EDGE.
I myself can't get them to work on my current EDGE setting (I have the Internet package). I will be calling T-mobile and asking them to activate the VPN on my account and see if this works. I'll keep you posted.
I also found this useful wiki for T-mobile users:
T-Mobile Data
If you have the Internet plan with VPN enable you should be able to access the web through: internet3.voicestream.com.

OK, no go. T-mobile told me that their VPN plans are not compatible with the iPhone (whatever that means).

T-mobile will tell you the iPhone is not compatible w/ their entire network, but we know that's not true..... what are the VPN settings and maybe putting those in the iphone will make it work.....
