Mirrorscope on 1.1.2 phone?
Has anyone gotten the Mirrorscope app ( http://www.iamas.ac.jp/~aka/iphone/#Mirrorscope.app ) to work successfully on a 1.1.2 phone? I really want to get this installed and have tried everything I can think of when setting permissions ( 0755, 0777 ) but can't keep it from crashing back to springboard on launch. Anyone know if I am missing anything (a file somewhere else other than app folder that needs permissions changed?)...
Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated!
This worked for me on 1.1.3 :
chmod +s /var/Applications/Mirrorscope.app/Mirrorscope
works for me too (1,1,3)
chmod +s Applications/Mirrorscope.app/Mirrorscope
thanks iphonedave and harmonkardon...
A quick (stupid) question though...
Could you take me through the steps to chmod...I'm unsure of what that means...
Thanks very much!
alright...I've been fooling around with this....
I can get it to work if I use winSCP and go to /var/Applications/Mirrorscope.app/Mirrorscope
and then go to "execute" under right-click menu...
the program launches and then won't go back to springboard unless I power off the phone completely....
It looks really cool, I just want to get it to launch/quit normally...
Any further help you guys can provide would be great
Thank you guys!!! Thank you very much... "chmod" works on Mirrorscope, as well as on Pericam (really cool time lapse photography app)!!!
Also Tried it on SMSD... unfortunately to no avail :-(
Two more apps working though ;-)))
1.1.3 - everything working (including Customize); updated using iTunes; used ZiPhone & anySIM3 (on Intel Mac)

imack....could you give me a quick "how to" on getting this working?
I have tried just about everything and its starting to make me a bit nuts....
Is there a trick to the whole chmod thing?

- open terminal and type: ssh email@example.com (of course replace "x" with your phone's IP)
- when it asks for a password enter "alpine"
- type "chmod +s /var/Applications/Mirrorscope.app/Mirrorscope"
(in case of 1.1.2 I think path is different)
- at this point I restarted my phone
- Voila... works! ;-)
Hope it helps
Thanks alot imack... Much appreciated...
now I need to get Pericam up and running...!
