    I'm not into Mac stuff – will this app allow us to play "normal" videoclips, like .avi, .mpeg coded using DivX, XviD, etc using iPhone's video interface?

    Phone I/O. Check. YouTube. Check. Mail, Safari, Widgets. Check.

    guessing from their ppc and symbian releases it will support all those formats .

    I've used CorePlayer on my Windows phone and on Nokia E65 ... play all sorts of formats!
