Hi i have a 2g iphone which was on v 1.1.1 (bought pre cracked off ebay)

i have now upgraded the f/w to version 2.1 using quickpwn. and have the cydia application now.

however the installer application is differnt to what was on the phone before as there were things on the previous installer i wanted to reinstall again.

are there different installer applications??

the source on my installer is Rip Dev

i think it maybe the iclarified installer ???

As far as I know, Installer doesn't works very well on 2.x.x FW. It's in beta stage. Google it

it looks like its changed from being iclarified to RIp dev

ive tried adding http://installer.iclarified.com as a new source but i still dont see iclarified apps anywhere within the installer

also trying to find the sim port application too

this is what im after but cant get it to work the source is there but cant see any apps it offers

however my installer looks slightly different

(step six i dont have a done button at hte top)
and i dont have the install option at the buttom.

my iphone is 2g and i used quickpwn to jailbreak it to fw 2.1

Thats the installer for 1.x firmware but also i think the repo is for 1.x as well.

meaning it wouldn't work if you have 2.x firmware installed

oh ok so how do i get the sim port application installed on my phone?

Why don't try this?: Go to Settings, then to Mail,Contacts and scroll down to Import SIM Contacts
