[iWorld] Questions about iWorld and 1.1.3
yo
hope my thread wont be deleted again....
if I wanna update to 1.1.3 (from 1.1.2 jailbroken), would I uninstall iWorld (from Tweaks 1.1.2) before that (according to e.g. the iClarified tutorial on how to update/jailbreak with installer, which tells to uninstall all 3rd party apps in order to make the procedure more smooth) OR could I leave iWorld on the phone?
AND will it work after the update/jailbreak to 1.1.3 as it did before or is it incompatible with 1.1.3?
IF I uninstall it before updating, can I install it again after the update?
why would "Tweaks 1.1.1" and "Tweaks 1.1.2" disappear from the Categories list in installer, when I a) uninstalled iWorld in order to do the update to 1.1.3 AND/OR b) upgraded to the latest installer version? Is that normal?
Thanks
iMaso

All third party apps are automatically removed when updating to 1.1.3 I dont know if it makes a difference to remove them before updating. I updated a few times with and without apps installed and it didn't make any difference.
I don't think there's any need for iWorld on 1.1.3 that was made to address 1.1.2 issues.
Counting down for iPhone 2012 =)

Thanks.
I would like to read confirmation from someone from a not supported country, who can/could only use his phone because of iworld and who now has updated to 1.1.3.
anyone?

thx for you opinion.
iworld (afaik) is adressing carrier-specific and national let's say *peculiarities* in countries not (yet) supported. so i would guess, that unless some new country has made it into apple's *short list* the iworld-fixes still would be needed.
but as imaso said:
we are looking forward to getting reports from 113-upgraders in non-supported countries.

anyway any 1.1.3 feedback from "unlisted" countries would be appreciated

wow that is in fact good to know, imagine someone doing the jailbreak to 1.1.3 and then be stuck without iworld, always would have to restore back to 1.1.1 and so on. good point there. thanks for letting us know.
any more hints for this?

Well I am now on 1.1.3 in an unsupported country and had iWorld for 1.1.2 and things are still running fine without it on the latest version.

I am in a country with unsupported number formats and I had to replace Appsupport file with a customized one for iphone to translate numbers to names stored in address book. Search for 1.1.3 appsuport in this forum and you will find it, if needed...
