tips: configure Internet Options -> Connetions -> LAN Config -> Use PROXY -> Advance -> only fill SOCKS information with the IP of your iPhone and port 1080

And only Navigate with SAFARI!!

Internet Explorer and Chrome doesnt work

You can use all programs that have SOCK 5 configuration, like Windows Live Messenger

Nice that you got it to work on Windows, but the whole idea of iPhoneModem was to have a "one-click" solution to activate tethering of the phone's internet connection. One click on their application on the Mac will create the ad-hoc network and set the correct proxy settings; then on the iPhone you click a few times to connect to the (insecure) ad-hoc network and one click on the application to start the socks server. That's nice and quick.

But since they haven't got a Windows version out yet, you'll have to do all that yourself on a Windows machine. Hardly easier than the manual procedure with zsrelay. So why spend $10 on iPhoneModem then?

NetSetMan; lets you store IP profiles to switch between say DHCP and 192.168.x.x with one click.

Proxifier; route through socks 5 for all internet traffic one click.

2 clicks, you'll hardly break a sweat.

You are right, it only works with Safari. Which is strange because safari for win uses the same proxy setting from IE
