What happens to the images, emails and applications we uninstall through Installer.app?

Does it all just get permanently deleted? or some invisible recycle bin and emptied after a day or 2?

is there an application out that shows your deleted stuff? images, emails incase you want to retrieve them? or accidently delete?

to my knowledge, they get deleted immediately. there's no Trash on the iphone.
