So my wife has an iphone for a little over a year. I unlocked hers, like i did mine, but she didn't want all the updates as often as I did so its hard to remember exactly what I did. I think i unlocked hers twice and got as high as 1.1.4.
1 year later and she really wanted 3.0 so she just did an apple update from itunes. The phone works fine, but any non-standard app wont work. It starts to open, but then goes right back to the dashboard. I'm not sure she needs the jailbreak or unlock anymore, but would like her phone up and running like it should with app support.

I'm not certain what to do at this point and dont want to make things worse. She would like to stay on 3.0 but I'm willing to do what I need to to get it back up 100%. Is there an easy way to correct this? A virginize program? Do I need to jailbreak/unlock and if so which version given my situation. Thanks in advance. Currently her specs are:

Version 3.0
firmware 04.05.04_G

ADMIN why did you move this thread? I had it in Older Software Unlock Solution which is WHY i'm having this problem. I unlocked her phone and then we didn't upgrade properly. Now I need help undoing it. It has nothing to do with Free Toolchain Software.
