Is anybody know a soft that working as answer machine

That would be pretty cool, a program that automatically answers after a set number of rings and records messages on the phone itself, along with time and caller id - wonder if thats possible.

I assume this would be an alternative to voicemail for those who opted out of EDGE, or perhaps those whose carrier don't offer visual voice mail. But I personally can't imagine anything easier or more convenient that what I currently have.
