    Default iphone 3g as wifi router?

    i remember seeing a thread many months ago about trying to run the iphone as a wifi router. eg being able to connect at least one device wirelesly and use the 3g data connection. not by tethering using an os.

    Wondering was this ever accomplished?

    no pdanet is tethering via a specific operating system using ad hoc networking. i was refering to the iphone as an independent 3g router. i Found the other thread but it seems that its not technically possible on the iphone.
