i have a conflict beetween 2 installers

i had a perfect 1.0.2 iphone desimlocked with unlock some weeks ago. i installed a few days ago the upgrade of installer on it V3.0b4, recommended for 1.1.1 but it worked right

i decided to upgrade the firmware yesterday. i used the revirginizer pack, everything went right and i unsimlocked easily with anysim1.1

i installed installer.app via independance and launched it : and here comes the trouble.
it appears like the older version : and when i hit the the "about" button i got the v2.63 version.
but when i hit the uninstall i got the v3.0b4 and when i try ti uninstall first of all i got an install button instead of the uninstall one, when i click on it i got do you want to reinstall ? well YES

and then i got the error no location defined in package.

i think i should remove via fugu some hidden file but the truth is i am lost. after some thinking, i think the iphone is stucked that way and that i will need to do a full restore;

i never done the restore setting....if i restore via itunes, will i still be in 1.1.1 wich means i will need to downgrade right?


any help would be gladly appreciated.

I had exactly the same issue and this worked for me... using Installer I uninstalled Comminty Sources and removed all of the Sources from the sources tab, closed installer and then opened it to reinstall Community Sources. By doing so I was offered the option of updating my Installer to v3.04b... as I said it worked for me and now I have it working perfectly...
