[Installer][Problem] Phone freezes after installing apps
Hello.
I am a long time reader, and a first time poster. I hope my title conformity is correct. Please inform me if it isn't so as to allow me to make the appropriate changes.
I have a OTB 1.1.4 purchased about a month ago. Unlocked with iPlus 2.0b, and Bootneutered (4.6, FB off, neuter on, unlock off) Everything works great until I tried installing SMBpref (which I think is a mistake). After that, the phone entered a endless reboot loop. Then, I put the phone into DFU mode (...make sure your speakers are on. Both buttons until the screen goes black. WAIT for the disconnect sound, and then release power button while still holding the sleep button. Hold sleep button until the screen goes black) and restored the phone to 1.1.4. After that, re-unlock my phone using iPlus 2.0b. I then import my contact lists and other particulars back to my fone via WinSCP.
However, when i tried installing new apps from the Installer, my phone lags and then freezes. I tried DFU + unlock for about 3 times now because of my phone freezing.
Am I doing anything wrong? Do I need to assign, on the address book and others, a specific permission before re-importing them back to my phone? Please advice a solution to my problem.
With best regards,
felix

Try to use the fix in this thread:

Your problem might be a corrupted Temp or Caches folder.

I have fixed the problem.
The problem seems to be the permission of my back up contents. the "owner" of these contents were set to root instead of mobile. After renaming the owner field, the phone function flawlessly, and can install and uninstall programs without any problem.
Thanks to XianLi for his time and attention. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Felix
