ok, so i tried to download new updates on some of the applicaions, it starts downloading, but before it completes it gives me an error saying "main script execution failed" i have the 1.1.4 iphone. help, asap! thanks guys!

Mr XianLi, there isnt solving to this problem.

The main script poblem is when the app is intalling.

Mr Juato, it looks like you haven't read the two threads i told him to read and if you did, you haven't understood their purpose.

yeah my installer was working but kept getting main script execution failure, I tried to fix it followng the instructions on your thread but now it doesn't even finish launching it just crashes

Because you don't seem to know what you are talking about, i'm gonna try to explain you in a simple way.

There are 2 reasons why you get a "main script execution failed" error:

1st > Installer has not enough permissions to write/modify files that require root level.

2nd > The application's script is corrupted/truncated or its file hash is wrong.

If i gave the 2 links (solving the 1st reason) before is simply to try to see if the problem is from that.

I was added permissions to installer and for example SUID Fix dont work.

So you are facing the 2nd reason which is not related to Installer.app but to the repository where your download the app.
