how the heck can I install the installer? I used iLiberty to activate/unlock/jailbreak my 1.1.4 iPhone. But: The newest version of iLiberty is installing Cydia that I don't like. Do I have to use an old version of iLiberty or is there an easier way to get the good old installer?

By the way: I kept updating Cydia over and over again (like it told me)... But after all that 40+ updates been downloaded and installed it crashed and never started again. Damn that thing!

You can re-do the activate and jailbreak with Both Cydia and Installer checked. Both can work together.

You have to select Installer (and BSD Sources) in iLiberty+ (Windows) to get then on your iPhone. Check for this two payloads and - if activeted - deactivate Cydia. You are set then.

I am not able to get the installer on my iphone..How did u managed?I dint like the cydia...pls let me know.

how about a way to get rid of cydia. its taking up over 14mb on my iphone and i want that space back lol. i installed it thru installer jus to see what it looked like, and now i don't want it

I managed to add installer by doing the following: Install iliberty+, in the menu "standard" unselect cydia, in the menu "advanced" select "Payloads available on repo" at the bottom and hit "refresh", afterwards select the good old installer and hit "go for it". Thats it
