[Installer] Can't install anything
Hi,
I've got a big problem on installer.app and no one helps me,
My problem is:
When I open installer on my iphone, and try to install an application, the installer crashes! The installer DOES download the app but when it starts installing it just crashes. Some apps don't crash, but the give an error ("main script execution failed").
Some people are telling me to install bosstool, but I can't install it! I can't install any app!
PLEASE HELP ME!
THANKS!
[btw I dont have openssh,term V or the open pdf thingy installed]

Just restore and jailbreak again that's the easiest solution.
iPhone US 8GB
FW 1.0.2--> iUnlock--> iPhoneSIMfree--> 1.1.1 --> 1.1.2--> Soft upgrade 1.1.3 --> 1.1.4 using signal.app
iPhone UK 16GB
FW 1.1.3 OOB --> 1.1.4 --> iPlus 1.2 unlocked!
<----If I helped you out, rep points are always nice (thanks for that idea!)

Your title is not in conformity with forum rules, see my sig for details. This isn't the right section either, so you're 0 for 2.
Please adhere to the correct formatting in the future.
As for your problem, I'm afraid that you're not going to be able to fix much of anything without SSH or terminal, so you'll need to restore. It's a good idea to install ssh even if you don't plan on using it to prevent things like this from happening again.

will reinstalling the installer fix it?

put your phone in ziphone or iliberty and jailbreak only... it will fix the problem.

so should I restore it first? or just put my 1.1.3 (otb 1.1.2) jailbroken and unlocked iphone in ziphone?

If you're using a mac then, use Independence.
Download Installer - http://repository.apptapp.com/packag.../Installer.zip
Unzip it.
Open Independence, click Customize and then Applications and add the Installer.app.
Reboot your iPhone.
If you don't have a mac and have SSH installed on the iPhone then use a program like FileZilla or any other good SSH program and navigate to /var/mobile/Applications and add in Installer.app that you have unzipped from the file downloaded above.
Again, reboot iphone and it should appear.
