Are you having fun yet
Installer still refuses to run, i set the permission to 0777 and also did the following:
chown -R root:wheel /private/var/stash/Applications.oECMg8/Installer.app
chown -R root:wheel /private/var/stash/Applications.oECMg8/Installer.app/
chmod a+srx /private/var/stash/Applications.oECMg8/Installer.app/Installer
Any idea?
Install beta 4 and run the update on the iphone
Use quickpwn to re jailbreak ur iphone and choose installer and cydia
http://blog.iphone-dev.org/
simple no ssh needed
MacBook Pro OS X SNOW Leopard![]()
iPhone 4 16GBiOS 4.2
iPad WiFi 64GB iOS 4.2
BlackBerry Curve 3G (9300)
Installer.app should be owned by root, its contents should be owned by root:wheel
Or do like I did, download&execute latest quickpwn, not the whole process, just the welcome screen, go to your temp folder, look for the installer package, copy it to your iphone root, then gzip & tar, respring springboard and it should start with its permissions already set
Good luck

Hey guys, just got the new Installer.app from the PwnageTool 2.0.3.1 resources, so i zipped it up and put it on mediafire: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=f...0d43c84ac0d6dd You will probably need to chmod 755 Installer and Scythe (don't think the permissions are set on this) so be warned. It should be the newest beta, (i think it's beta 6?)
Cheers.
