I am a new entrant into iPhone, iTunes and Apple..so please bear with me!!
How do I install 'Cydia' into my 3G 16GB iPhone? Where do I find the Cydia Installer file and do I have to do that thru iTunes?

I am sure you would have a hundred more questions once this one was answered for you, so I advise using the handy search utility. But, to answer your question...

In order to install Cydia, you need to pwn your phone--you won't find Cydia in iTunes. Recommended is Quickpwn. As I said before please take the time to browse the stickies and use the search.
