Ive used Fring before on my Nokia - very good program, easy to use - only problem is that the rates are pretty expensive...

Anyway to get to the point, I mailed them re the iPhone and here was there response:

Yes, but I think the OP was asking for a *native* app not a web2.0 mashup.

In theory once we've cracked VOIP adding IM should be easy, in the meanwhile there is already MobileChat for AIM on AppTapp.
