i want an iphone but their are 4 must haves... was wondering if anyone could update me on the status of them

i'm gonna end up with a 1.1.3 iphone (probably unlocked with ziphone)

1. MSN Messenger (i hear that mobile chat and apolloim still don't work with 1.1.3???)

2. Remote Desktop (i need access to my pc's... i know logmein has the html view but thats slow is their any sign of a standard RDP client for the iphone yet?)

3. Video Recording (i know their was a 5 second test app out but has anyone got news or a site about progress on an actual application?)

4. Alarm clock (as simple as it sounds i need an alarm clock with multiple times that can wake me up in the AM and alert me to some times during the day... is their one that can do that with mp3's or something for the iphone yet???)


And note: im posting under the native apps forum I don't want Meebo.com for msn, or logmein.com

You are correct, no IM program works with 1.1.3 yet.

VNsea for the iPhone works pretty well for remote desktop, there is no RDP client, specifically.

There is no useable video recorder for the iPhone as of right now.

...and the iPhone already has a built in alarm clock that's sufficiently complex for your needs.

Apollo works perfectly for me on a OTB 1.1.3 16gb jailbroken and unlocked with ZiPone.

And you can also downgrade...

ShowTime Unlimited is a video recording app and you can record unlimited lengths. I think it was taken off installer but I have it on my computer.

showtime add's ghostly amounts of unfindable info to ur phone that u can't even delete. i do not recommend using it anyway, very choppy and no real way of using it anywhere else but replaying on ur phone.

MobileChat and ApolloIM work fine in 1.1.3, but you need to do the fix first (HERE). (Or cached version if site is down)

Alarm Clock? Uh, the iPhone has a great one. Use it every morning... well, at least I hit the snooze every morning.

LMAO thats like me with my razr... i have all 6 alarms set between 7am and 9 because i never wakeup when i want to lol... and i have learned to hit the off button in my sleep instead of snooze razrs limited to 6 alarms...

so still no RDP, but VNsea is their... alarm is available, apolloim their is a fix for (Thank god)

just the video recorders being insane which is probably jsut waiting on the sdk... but theirs showtime which is risky and kinda crappy...

i wish monster would release a new better video recorder
