How do I compile MPlayer natively on the iPhone (3G, running OS 3.0)
Hi there,
I hope I have put this to the right Forum - if not I apologize!
My plan was to compile Mplayer unter 3.0 to have it back running again, since the sources are available freely.Unfortunately Mplayer comes with automake, which would require a lot of work for me to port it to Xcode or, what seems easier to me to compile it using the automake methods configure and make natively on the iPhone.
Now I am looking for libgcc and other stuff, which is referenced by the GCC for iPhone package - but they are nowhere to be found, atleast not anywhere I know of...
So - my questions, does anyone have those packagaes as .deb ? Or is there a repository to use.
Other way would be a nice tutorial how to port an automake source to xproject, or maybe an exmaple to to how to run a shell with the target systems environmetals settings at compile time, so configure will "think" it is for an iphone.
I am happy to put the final result online, so we can use Mplayer again under 3.0
The link to the MPlayer source is here: Home ?(skiman's software)?
Any help or input is highly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Jonda
