What about a Hotmail App to read your mail? We can't download our hotmail inbox to Mail.app so what about a specific hotmail app to read our mail?

Hey, Hotmail is a bit naff, but it sucks to change addresses. Try this method.
I don't think an invite is required for Gmail anymore, but if it is give me a PM and I will send you an invite.

I forward all my Hotmail mails to my Gmail inbox, where it goes to a Filter called "Hotmail"..
Works perfectly well for checking mail..
Heres how to do it..
---
Go to your Hotmail..
Options > Forward mail to another e-mail account
Forward it to your Gmail address.
---
In your gmail, go to Settings > filters.
Create a Filter and in the to: field put your hotmail ID. Eg. 123123@hotmail[dot]com...
Click Next Step..
Skip Inbox, Apply label "Hotmail".. (Youll have to create the label ofcourse)...
---
Enjoy checking your mails in the Mail.app.

Good morning,
All of abrod forgive me for my bad English (translation google)
There is a simple solution and for its free Hotmail messages in Mail.app application.
This requires an iPhone jailbreaké with firmware 2.0 or 2.0 +.
And follow the tutorial in French that I did here:
http://forum.frenchiphone.com/index....html#msg315168
Hoping that you can also use a translation software, for those who do not understand French.

I had the same problem, I could not forward to anything other then @msn.com @live.com or @hotmail.com
But there is a simple way to get around this:
Go to settings and acctivate Mobile, (if your mobile carrier is supported) select your carrier and type in your phone nr. you will then get a SMS with a code to verify, type in that code.
Next go back to the forwarding page and you will be able to forward to any email you want.
Then go back to the Setting and mobile alerts and select that you dont want any alerts sent out. (because its gonna cost you to get a SMS each time you get a email).
Then you should be good to go, worked like a charm for me yesterday![]()
only thing that works is izymail
POP mail is not supported by hotmail so wont work with iphone straight away
you need to use third party izymail etc for recieving and sending mails with hotmail![]()
