[Help]What you all using to make your Vwallpaper
Hi.
Upon trying and failing with lots of different video editors, i.e Premier Pro, PowerDirector 6 and even Camtasia I am still not being able to get the videos to the correct size and Some do not even play in the wrong size.
Anyone care to share some information on how ts done and what software is being used.
Is there any easy video convertor for instance that will take a video clip and put it to the perfect size, and change the format so it will play on the VWallpaper app.
Thanks in Advance.

Iphone video recorder makes great custom wallpaper for vwallpaper. Just move the files into the Skrew folder.

you are gonna need some editing software, premier or avid . If you want to use just animated images use flas or director or even photoshop, export at the correct size as quicktime and use a compresor such h264. 4 more complex animations use after effects

What you are looking for is a video "editing" tool called "MPEG StreamClip" which is free --> MPEG StreamClip
I used it to create the following vWallpaper using an existing OSX Intro video as the source.
OSX Video iPhone Fullscreen <-- This one uses the full screen of the iPhone for the video
OSX Video iPhone Original Aspect Ratio <-- This one is the video in it orginal screen aspect ratio which doesn't fully cover the screen of the iPhone.
Let me know what you think of the vWallpapers, it was my very first attempt at anything like this.

Just use "Total video Converter"
it fast, easy and has everything.

MPEG streamclip is not an editing soft is a conversion tool, you can't edit exiting clips, just do basic in and out points. the size i think is 460x280. i saw the exact size in a site this morning but i can't find it now.

Yes, you are correct in that it is not a full fledge editing tool but if you already have a video that you cut and trim then it works well. You can then use the "Export to MPEG-4" and select output as 320x480 (iPhone Screen size). Did the trick for me.
