I have an unlocked 1.1.1 iPhone. Installed services.app, disabled edge. Said it's doing it's thing. Checked the APN, correct as DISABLED. I disable WIFI. I load safari and I still get data.

How can I stop this? I only want to use WIFI for data.

I tried deedge but it doesn't work either. I imagine edge in the service sense through the carriers IS disabled, but GPRS is still able to retrieve data.

My carrier is M-ZONE in China (China Mobile), Pay as you go. Just any typical SIM really, nothing special.
