[Cydia] cannot delete repos
I am trying to delete the yellowsnow repo, since I do not really need it anymore , but I am having hard times in deleting this repo or any other. If I go into the manage - source - edit I do not see the red circle that I can hit and delete the repo.
How is it possible !?!??!

Some repos are added by hand (in Manage... Sources... Edit... Add), and the address is typed in by hand. You see them listed under "Entered by User" in the sources list.
Other repos are really packages, in the sense that they are installed as packages. You delete them by uninstalling the package, in Manage... Packages.

Installing Cydia programs on a phone that has no internet connection: read this.
Editing binary .plist, .strings, .nib and .xib files:
* on your computer: Windows tool / conversion website.
* on your iPhone: convert those files in a terminal with plutil (installed with Erica Utilities) or edit them with iFile (Cydia links).

hi, i have a question to you jim danner
i installed "ALL SOURCES" from cydia vis Steffwiz, and now it takes forever i mean literally 2 hours for all the packages to download.
i have deleted some repositories (french ones, hebrew ones, iphone isalm ones) but its still always stuck on "downloading packages"
what can i do? is this normal? i didnt think all the sources would do this to cydia. thanks!

Probably some of the sources are offline, broken, or otherwise troublesome. That can really halt Cydia a long time. Of course the solution is obvious (you already hinted at it): be selective about sources, only install those that have good things that other sources don't (there are lots of duplicates between sources that don't add anything). In the Manage... Sources section you can see what each source offers (tap on the source to see the list). If a source doesn't have anything listed, it is probably one of the causes of the slowness.
