On lock screen, where are Events shown there is big darken area so the wallpaper is dimmed under it and also when I am charging battery, I dont see the battery indicator clear. Is there a way to make this dark area smaller ? Or better yet, make it to follow events, if I have 1 then it is smaller, if I have 5 then it is dark exactly how much space this 5 events take.

Also, can someone explain FaceLift part of the app, it says that I need to uninstall Customize or SMB to work properly, why is that ? Can someone explain what every setting under FaceLift do.

The lock screen area for the calendar and events is covered by a png called "cal_topbar.png", which can be found here "\Library\MobileEnhancer\LockCalendar.men".
You can change the png as you like to make it lighter or rename it to make it vanish.

I think the FaceLift part from Caterpillar interferes with the apps Customize and SMB. In Customize you could change the dock and with SMB you have themes which changes the wallpaper and the dock. I don't know which priority each apps has when you change something which the other app does too. But I've read, that some have running these apps without problems.

SpringBoard miscellanea
- Opaque Status --> makes your statusbar none transparent
- Labels Background --> rounded dark background for text below app, makes it more readable for lighter background

SpringBoard Dock
- Show Background --> shows dock background
- Reflective Dock --> dock with reflection of app icons (like iPod FW 1.1.2)
- 5-Icons-Dock --> allows dock to have 5 icons instead of the default 4

I agree, that really sucks and takes to much space on the lock screen.

The thing is, I think, that we should suggest a feature to let's say, just show the events of the current day, instead of showing, it, plus the next following days until 7 events are full.

That way, most likely a big part of the current lock screen would be "free" again.

I mailed them with this request, the rest of you should do the same.

I tried to edit this PNG using Adobe CS3 (for PC) but the resulting file does not work, my goal was to make it around 60 pixels high so it shows only 3 events, I usually don't have too much appointments, so 3 is OK

If you can, can you upload it to imageshack? Thanks

If you change the png the you have to respring to apply the new png you made.
But there you go here's the image for 3 events (height is 170px).

Save it as "cal_topbar.png" and replace it, then do a respring.

what they should do is make it possible to hide the events or calander with a "third" tap on the screen...
so tap once and you see the calendar
tap again and you see the events
tap again and you see the normal screen with time and full wallpaper

Nope, this is great now, only to make option to have that darken area or not so we can chose depending on our wallpaper under...and also make that darken area is smaller when one or none task are for that day and make them only for TODAY, not for tomorrow and after, only todaj, if there is 0 events then it should be dark only on calendar and not on event view.
