Recently I found 2 apps in Cydia called: CallCounter, and SMSCounter.
I installed them on my 2g fw: 2.2 but when I open the apps they open for a moment and then it closes back to the springboard.

I have tried the following already:
I've uninstalled and re-installed the apps.
When I first installed these apps and they failed it was on my 2g with fw: 2.2, since then I have upgraded (restored) my phone to fw:2.2.1 at which time I also re-jailbroke my iPhone as well.
I still have the same problem though, so I dont understand what additional steps I can take to get these 2 apps to work.

I have read a few articles around that these apps actually do work but as I shared I cant seem to figure out how to get this to work on my iPhone.

Anyone have any ideas?
