[BUG] MobilePhone.app (all versions)

a bug is found with MobilePhone.app, this bug in all versions of iPhone.

Here is how to generate the problem:

1) Launch the Phone app
2) Type a few numbers in the Keypad
3) Press Backspace and any number at the same time. (you might need to try this a few times)
4) All numbers will be gone and you will not be able to type in any number to dail.

To fix this after the problem occurs.
- Hold the Home button for more than 5 seconds while you are in the Phone app.

Hope you guys can try it out and see what will happen to yours.

Works for me too. Maybe something you should send to apple?. Although I don't know how any regular consumer would replicate this bug:S

Doesn't happen with my 1.1.3 dev team... All numbers dissapear, and then i can type any number again...

It's a bug in the dialing routing of MobilePhone.app and seems to be present in all (1.1.x at least) versions (checked 1.1.1, 1.1.2 and 1.1.3).

But who will press backspace and dial a number at the same time? It took me a few tries before I got the bug on 1.1.2 (next ones where easier to reproduce).

Also, for those that do not know it, holding "home" for 5 secs is a generic way to REALLY terminate any program, specially those that do not close on a regular "home" press (like, phone, mail, and a few other)

lol my cousin triggered this when he was playing with my iPhone back in Christmas... glad to know it's a bug and he didn't mess anything up lol

keeps happening, tho in 1.1.3
